The Eucharist

While they were eating, Jesus took bread, said the blessing, broke it, and giving it to his disciples said, “Take and eat; this is my body.”

— Matthew 26:26

The Eucharist is the central Sacrament of faith. All other Sacraments lead to the Eucharist. Here Catholics participate to be transformed into the Body of Christ.

Children in elementary schools at the start of second grade should be taking classes for first Holy Communion. Contact the Religious Education office for more information.
